Although it’s not built yet, the largest and highest condo suite in Toronto is about to hit the market — with a price tag of $17.5 million.
The 11,370-square-foot penthouse will be built atop the 75-storey Aura condominium, located at the corner of Yonge and Gerrard Streets. According to developers, the new project will be the tallest residential building in the country.
Riz Dhanji, vice president of sales and marketing for Canderel Stoneridge, tells the Toronto Star that the penthouse suite would be perfect for a current Bridle Path resident who wants to move to a maintenance-free lifestyle.
We’re not so sure Bridle Path residents are ready to trade in their gated tranquility for the hustle and bustle of downtown Toronto (and the thousands of Ryerson students that come with it) but, hey, you never know.
Construction on the building was officially commenced Friday, following a ceremony attended by Mayor David Miller.
