Prepare for a military invasion in T.O. this spring

I’m looking for a stylish spring jacket. Any suggestions?

If I had to get one new jacket for spring it would come with military-inspired details like epaulets, metal buttons and exposed zippers. And only in classic neutral colours like khaki or tan.

Any tips when it comes to wearing denim this spring?

Skinny leg jeans are still at the top of the list for spring but don’t get intimidated and think they have to fit like a legging to look new.

There are lots of skinny jeans that have more of a stovepipe shape that will look totally cool. Wear them with either high-heels or flats.

The hottest trend is a loose, baggy jean in a lighter shade of denim with lots of tears and rolled at the ankles. Wear this shape with either flat gladiators, high-heeled sandals or ankle boots.

I’m getting married this summer but it’s my second time around and I’m not doing the white dress. What do you think I should wear?

I totally agree: no white dress. All you’ll get are funny comments behind your back.

Consider a matching jacket and skirt, jacket and dress suit, or even an elegant knee-length dress. Make sure it is cut in a luxe fabric like shantung silk, or a textured brocade. Stick to colours like champagne, pale grey or even an antique ivory. Then finish your outfit with elegant jewelry and shoes.
