Auberge du Pommier
Toronto, ON M2P 2C6
Auberge du Pommier has been at the top of the game in Toronto's French fine dining scene since it opened in 1987. From restaurant group Oliver & Bonacini, this modest yet sophisticated pair of French-style cottages sits along Yonge Street. Although if you've never been there, you might not notice it. Covered in summer foliage the French-classic archways lead you toward the historic country cottages and welcome you into a refined and elegant space, decorated with pastels finishings and fresh flowers. The cuisine incorporates traditional French techniques with North American seasonal influences and ingredients. Not to be mistaken for modern cooking, this is a French fine dining restaurant all the way down to the immaculate white tablecloths and perfectly choreographed service. The dishes are so delicate and visually stunning you might have to take a moment before diving in, but once you do, you'll understand why this restaurant has maintained the highest accolades for over 30 years.
