Details: As part of the Toronto Design Offsite Festival, the Philip Sparks shop will host its first exhibition from Jan. 22-27, featuring the work of Dina González Mascaró. Originally from Argentina, the Vancouver-based jewellery maker, sculptor and furniture designer’s abstract and industrial pieces will be up for grabs for one week only.

Details: Holt Renfrew has dubbed this event the “beauty event of the season,” so should you miss it? We guess not. The night includes previews of spring 2013 beauty products, prizes, beauty treatments, special offers and more. Don’t miss the live Q&A session with Emily Weiss of Into The Gloss. Details: Bringing together over 40 artists, the Gladstone Hotel’s annual Come Up To My Room has become a highly anticipated annual event. Through exhibitions and installations, attendees are exposed to what goes on inside the artists’ heads. This year’s participants include Youki Cropas & Emily Young, Fugitive Glue, Orest Tataryn and more.
